Witnessing the dawn in Boston

So this morning I took a walk from Ruggles station to the Fens, to the Prudential Center, towards the South End a couple blocks and back home. I had to live-tweet something, and I wanted to cover an event that occurs all the time, but that I seldom see. So I wrote about dawn in bean-town.

Originally, I was going to try and make it to the nearest bridge over the Charles River for the actual peaking of the sun over the horizon. Instead I went to the Prudential Center for warmth. I didn’t get any quotes, but I took some photos and made some observations.

It turns out that covering an event via Twitter lends a certain amount of spontaneity to your work, but it can lead to typos – especially in the cold.
